We offer thousands of items in-store that are not available online. If you would like to order more items, please call us at 540-337-4224. Orders placed Monday-Wednesday will be processed and shipped the day after they are placed. Orders placed Thursday-Sunday will be processed and shipped on Monday.
Most of our products are packaged in, and priced by, random weight. Your order will be filled using the package closest to the size on the website as possible. Your total order will not exceed the total amount authorized and, often times, will be adjusted to slightly less.
When products are out of stock we will ship the rest of the order, and out-of-stock items must be re-ordered at a later date.
Package weights and final cost per product may vary because we buy in bulk and repackage our products into smaller sizes. By not tediously making each package identical we are able to pass on significant savings to our customers. We may not be able to supply the exact price listed on each product but we will make sure that your final purchase total will not exceed your shopping cart total.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
Cancellations before shipment are rarely possible due to fast order processing. Cancellation requests must be made by phone.
Damages in transit must be reported within 2 days of receipt. We will file with the carrier for loss. Keep the damage for inspection purposes. Customers will receive a replacement product or a full refund in the event they have received damaged or incorrect products.
Please contact us before returning any product. All returns must be received in original condition.
• Please include a copy of the invoice with the return.
• No credit will be given for shipping and handling charges. Return shipping charges are the customer’s responsibility.
• Regardless of your method of payment, refunds will be paid by check, after the product is received and inspected by us to ensure it is able to be resold.
• It may take up to 30 days to receive your refund check.
• Credit will be given as follows:
o within 10 days of invoice date, 90%
o 11-30 days, 80%;
o after 30 days, no credit.
OUT OF STOCK ITEMS
Our goal is, and always will be, to achieve a 100% fill rate on all orders; however, there may be circumstances out of our control that prevent us from reaching our goal. Any item that was not fulfilled on your order will need to be reordered. We do not maintain back order records.
The Cheese Shop offers UPS and USPS daily service in the continental US only. Most orders ship the next business day. Because of temperature factors out of our control, we cannot be held responsible for any product that is damaged due to melting or freezing during shipment.
We recognize that shopping on our website involves trust, and we are committed to keeping that trust. However, account privacy is a two-way street. Protect your account by protecting your password. If you feel your password has been compromised, contact us as soon as possible.
Effort is made to make this site as trustworthy and accurate as possible. Sometimes information, print and pictures will be inaccurate and may contain typographical errors and outdated information.
Parents should always supervise their children while online. The Cheese Shop’s website is not designed nor intended to collect personal information from children under the age of thirteen. So that we may comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, we ask that children under the age of thirteen not provide any personal information on this website.
